Dansko Update 5/20

Center for Disease Control and Pennsylvania Department of Health updated guidance for fully vaccinated individuals Last week the Center for Disease and the Pennsylvania Department of Health provided revised guidelines for mask use for fully vaccinated individuals. The guidance states, "fully vaccinated individuals – two weeks after their final dose -- can resume activities that they did prior to the pandemic without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by law, rule, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance."     Once 70 percent of Pennsylvanians over the age of 18 are fully vaccinated, Pennsylvania anticipates lifting the state-wide masking order. As of May 19, 55% of residents have received at least one dose, and 40% are fully vaccinated.   What does this mean for Dansko?  All Dansko employees must continue to wear a mask or face covering and maintain social distancing practices on campus unless they can ...

Dansko Update 5/6/2021

  Pennsylvania lifting COVID-19 Mitigation Orders May 31, 2021 Governor Wolf announced Tuesday that all COVID-19 mitigation orders  except masking  will be lifted on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.  The current order requiring Pennsylvanians to wear masks is expected to be lifted when 70% of Pennsylvanians age 18 and older are fully vaccinated. As of May 5, roughly 51% of Pennsylvanians have received at least one dose of vaccine. Pennsylvania Department of Health recommends following CDC guidance regarding ongoing COVID-19 safety measures and procedures.  The CDC currently recommends:    Wear  a mask that covers your nose and mouth  to help protect yourself and others. Stay 6 feet apart from others  who don’t live with you. Get a  COVID-19 vaccine  when it is available to you. Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated indoor spaces.
