    Dansko Fall Complimentary Shoe Program Dansko will be reinstating the Complimentary Shoe Program, for the Fall season, effective Monday, September 28. Employees may resume the process of placing an order for compl i mentary pairs through the SharePoint website.  Five Star Distribution Center employees can pick up their complimentary shoes at Five Star.  Residents of 33 Federal , working from home , will be able to pick up their complimentary shoes at the company store. An email is generated when the order is prepared; expect the shoes to be transferred to the company store approximately 48 hrs. after receiving this email. We expect the complete order process to be  3-4 business days. Please do not call the Company Store for status updates.  If you are currently ineligible to come to campus due to the Dansko Travel Policy, you will need to wait until that quarantine period has ended before picking up your shoes. Plans for those working from home to return to working from 33 Federal As shared on in the July 30, update: Until there is a more effective treatment, an available vaccine, or other change in recommendation from Pennsylvania or the CDC, those who can work from home will continue to do so. Given this, those working regularly from home will continue to do so through at least  January 8, 2021.    There is a possibility that people will be working from home beyond that date, and we will continue to evaluate the situation and update on a regular basis. We do not intend to bring anyone back to the office without reasonable notice. Payroll Tax Deferral Status In August, the President signed an executive order which allows employers to defer withholding the 6.2% employee portion of the Social Security tax. The deferral only applies to employees making less than $4,000 Gross bi-weekly (less than $104,000 per year).  The executive order delay s, rather than forgives, the employee’s share of the Social Security tax. Currently, any taxes deferred during the September 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 deferral period are required to be repaid by April 2021.  So while employees to which this applies would see higher paychecks than normal through the rest of 2020, their paychecks for January through April 2021 would actually be lower than normal due to the double withholding. If any deferred payroll taxes are not repaid by April 30, interest, penalties, and additions to tax will begin to accrue May 1.
