Dansko Update 07/30/2020

Thanks to all of you who participated in the small group meetings and completed the follow-up survey. Below is a response from Jim Fox on some of the survey feedback. There will be additional questions covered in next week’s update:   Plans for a return to a regular 5-day a week workweek The most frequently asked question from employees is regarding Dansko’s return to a regular 5-day a week workweek. I greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding regarding this situation. I understand how frustrating and difficult it is to not have clarity regarding a specific date or event that would allow us to return to a normal schedule. At the same time, we have to balance providing employment, compensation, and benefits for as many employees as possible while managing for the long term and maintaining flexibility for Dansko in a time of enormous uncertainty. While the goal is to return full-time employees to a regular schedule as soon as possible, there is not a one-size...

Dansko Update 07/24/2020

BUSINESS UPDATE MEETINGS This week there were multiple small group meetings and zoom calls. Jim reviewed the following information:   • The 12/31/2019 valuation resulted in a share price of $461 per share. Again, the share price represents the valuation as of December 31,2019 and we expect that subsequent events since that date will have a negative impact on the future share price. • The 2019 ESOP Statements and 2019 ESOP and Financial Summary have been mailed this week. Please be on the lookout for them in your home mail.                 If you don't receive your statement by August 1st, please contact Marc Vettori. • Dansko’s 2020 revenue forecast remains at $75 M; no change from the revised forecast communicated in May.  • There is no specific timeline for a return to a normal five-day workweek. Returning to a five-day workweek will vary individual to individual and department to department based on business conditions an...

Dansko Update 07.01.2020

Dansko, In recognition of Independence Day, the Dansko campus and business will be closed on Friday, July 3. We wanted to thank everyone for their hard work, and tenacity as we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 Pandemic. Remember, there are four actions you can take, that when used in combination, can best reduce the spread of COVID-19: 1. Social distancing, 2. Use of masks in public and the workplace; 3. Good hygiene, especially with frequent hand washing. 4. Testing as needed. PLEASE NOTE: CULTURE is just as critical to success. Please keep your co-workers safe by thoroughly following these best practices. The Centers for Disease Control and the Chester County Health Department guidelines have identified close contact (an exposure of more than 10 minutes within six feet of an infected person) as the most substantial risk of becoming infected with COVID-19. Avoid close contact with people outside your immediate household. Dansko’s current travel policy is in effe...
