Dansko Update 09/21/2020

Plans for those working from home to return to working from 33 Federal

As shared on in the July 30, update: Until there is a more effective treatment, an available vaccine, or other change in recommendation from Pennsylvania or the CDC, those who can work from home will continue to do so. Given this, those working regularly from home will continue to do so through at least January 8, 2021.   There is a possibility that people will be working from home beyond that date, and we will continue to evaluate the situation and update on a regular basis. We do not intend to bring anyone back to the office without reasonable notice. The goal would be to provide at least two to four weeks notice before confirming a date for a return to regularly working from the office.

Open Enrollment for Benefits :

The open enrollment period for all of Dansko’s benefit plans will be to kick off in early October. The HR team will host small group meetings/zoom calls to review the Dansko benefit offerings. We will be scheduling these meetings shortly. Employees will make benefit selections using the EASE online system that was used for enrollment last year. There have been very few changes to our benefits for the next enrollment period. We will cover in more detail in the small kick-off meetings. There will be no change to employee rates for the benefit period December 1, 2020-November 30, 2021.

Travel Policy remains in effect:

•         Contact HR (Marc Vettori x1154, cell # 484.472.2383, or marc.vettori@dansko.com) WHEN YOU RETURN from your trip.

Before returning to work, you will be asked the following:

•    Did you go into a public place without a cloth or medical mask?

•    Have you attended a gathering of more than 25 people?

•    Do you believe you have been exposed to anyone infected currently with COVID-19 while traveling?

If you answer yes to any of the above, you may not be able to return to the Dansko campus for a period of time (3-14) DAYS after completing any travel.

Additionally,  Pennsylvania Department of Health travel policy (last updated 9/18) continues to advise that if you travel to one of these 18 states, you will need to quarantine for 14 days upon returning to Pennsylvania.

North Dakota

Arkansas

South Carolina

Georgia

Mississippi

South Dakota

Wisconsin

As far as Dansko’s current travel policy, if you have traveled to one of the states identified by Pennsylvania Department of Health, you will not be permitted on the Dansko Campus for 14 days upon returning to the West Grove area.

Additionally:

If you present any of the following symptoms, DO NOT REPORT to campus:

•    Cough; or

•    Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; or

•    Fever; or

•    Chills; or

•    Muscle pain; or

•    Sore throat; or

If you have any of the symptoms above or have a sick family member at home, or are being tested for COVID-19, let Marc and your Manager know and we will make alternate arrangements.

Ultimately, we are counting on all of the Dansko team to take appropriate measures to protect themselves, their family, and Dansko from COVID-19.

Thank you for your tenacity and attention to these critical matters.
