Return to 33 Federal Road – no earlier than 5/17/2021

Pennsylvania has slightly modified its guidance regarding on-site work, but it does not change our current status. So while we are getting closer to transitioning to regular office schedules at 33 Federal, we do not yet have a definitive date.

Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 Guidance for Business strongly encourages all businesses to conduct their operations remotely through teleworking where possible. Additionally, Pennsylvania has not set out any benchmarks for vaccinations or other activity providing guidance or a timetable for a full return to onsite business.

Dansko will continue to review updated guidance from the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the CDC, and those who can work from home will continue to do so through at least May 17, 2021. We do not intend to bring anyone back to the office without reasonable notice. The goal is to provide at least two weeks’ notice prior to returning to the office on any type of a regular schedule.

Recognizing that there is work that cannot be done at home, 33 Federal is generally open every weekday for work that is scheduled in advance (by appointment only – contact your manager and Marc Vettori if you need to schedule time at 33 Federal.)

Thanks to all of you who participated in the small group meetings and completed the follow-up survey. Below is a response from Jim Fox on some of the survey feedback. There will be additional questions covered in next week’s update:   Plans for a return to a regular 5-day a week workweek The most frequently asked question from employees is regarding Dansko’s return to a regular 5-day a week workweek. I greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding regarding this situation. I understand how frustrating and difficult it is to not have clarity regarding a specific date or event that would allow us to return to a normal schedule. At the same time, we have to balance providing employment, compensation, and benefits for as many employees as possible while managing for the long term and maintaining flexibility for Dansko in a time of enormous uncertainty.
