Dansko Team,
There is no
question that 2020 has been a [insert your own buzzword… or “colorful” language
here] year.
Please take a
moment to consider what Dansko has been able to accomplish in this unusual
year.
We still face
several difficult months, but thanks to EVERYONE at Dansko, we will be ready to
grow and do so much more in 2021.

team in the Distribution Center for being there every day working in masks and
social distancing to ensure that Dansko can keep shipping shoes to our
consumers and retailers!
THANK YOU to the
B2C team from Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance/Credit for driving
extraordinary growth at Dansko.com and outlet.dansko.com and enhancing our
connections with consumers!
THANK YOU to the
Company Store team for being there every day to provide a safe environment for
consumers, sell shoes, and be a positive presence in the community!
THANK YOU to the
Credit & Collections team for working with retailers and making sure the
payments keep coming in!
THANK YOU to the
Customer Service team for helping retailers manage the uncertainty and
responding to more consumer contacts than ever before!
THANK YOU to the
Finance team for managing Dansko’s cash and expenses and ensuring Dansko’s
financial stability!
THANK YOU to the HR
& Facilities team for keeping payroll and benefits up to date and the
buildings maintained and accessible!
THANK YOU to the
Inventory Control team for keeping the product flowing and maintaining 100%
inventory accuracy!
THANK YOU to the IT
team for making sure that those working from home can stay connected and
productive!
THANK YOU to the
Marketing team for the quality and quantity of content and communications that
increase Dansko’s brand awareness and keep us top of mind among our consumers!
THANK YOU to the
Product Development team for the new collections, patterns, and colorways that
have retailers and consumers excited for 2021!
THANK YOU to the
Purchasing team for managing tremendous forecast uncertainty and keeping Dansko
in stock!
THANK YOU to the
Returns/Quality team for inspecting shoes and managing online consumer returns!
THANK YOU to the
Sales team for working with sales reps and retailers to hold onto orders when
appropriate and bringing in the at once and closeout orders that helped Dansko
beat revised expectations!

Sourcing team for remotely managing a transition out of China factories and
commercialization of new product!
While there is no
way to recognize every contribution, it should be clear that EVERYONE
contributed and is critical to Dansko’s future success.
