Dansko Update 10/22/2020
Stay safe and focused on COVID-19 precautions
The COVID-19 Pandemic has now impacted our area for over seven
months. All of us are likely feeling some level of “pandemic fatigue”. We
wanted to take a moment to thank you all for taking extra precautions
while on campus and in your private lives. We also want to remind you to stay
focused on those precautions. The best way to protect yourself and your
family at this time is by continuing to follow these basic guidelines:
- Wear a medical or cloth mask in public settings and when
around people outside of your household
- Wash your hands frequently
- Maintain social distancing (at least 6 ft.)
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
- Monitor your health and those in your household
If you’re not feeling well, stay home and contact your primary
care physician.
Thank you for your continued vigilance and tenacity.
Election Day 11/3/2020
Dansko encourages employees to vote
in both primary and general elections. Dansko work schedules allow
employees sufficient time to vote either before or after regularly assigned
work hours. However, when this is not possible due to work schedules, please
work with your manager to arrange a reasonable period of time to vote. Impacted
employees should make their department manager aware of the conflict at least
48 hours before Election Day.
As always, if you are unexpectedly
running late- please communicate with your manager and keep them aware of your
situation.
Dansko Benefit Open Enrollment
First and foremost, we wanted to thank the almost 70 full-time
employees who have already completed their Open Enrollment Benefit Selections.
For those who have not completed their selections, please remember
there are just eight days to make your December 20 – November 21 benefits
choices.
All
employees will need to make their benefit selections by Friday, October 30, at 3:00 pm. Employees will make benefit
selections using the EASE online system that was used for enrollment last year.
If you are not taking Dansko benefits, you will need to log on and waive them.
If you have any questions, please reach out to a member of Your Friendly
Neighborhood HR team.
