Dansko Update August 21, 2020

 

Fall Schools

We recognize that for those of you with school-age children, there remain a number of concerns and questions related to how schools plan to reopen. Our employees live in a variety of school districts with different plans and timing for reopening. Dansko strives to provide employment that will enable employees to make the best decisions for their own personal situations. Dansko works to be as supportive and flexible as possible, understanding that each department's needs are different, and each individual's situation is unique. Vanguard Transition:

As you are aware, the Dansko 401K Retirement Plan is transitioning to Vanguard. Your investment options will be changing. You will need to contact Vanguard to choose new investments. The enrollment period for you to select your new investments began August 14, 2020, and ends on Friday, August 28, 2020. 

 

You can set up your Vanguard account online (www.vanguard.com/enroll) and make investment elections online at vanguard.com/retirement plans. You will need your plan number to enroll: 095426, and you will be asked a few questions to complete the process.

 

Suppose you do not direct Vanguard where to invest your money. In that case, your savings and future contributions will be invested automatically in the Vanguard Institutional Target Retirement Fund with the target date closest to the year in which you will reach age 65. After the transition is complete, you can move your money or redirect your contributions to other funds in your plan's lineup at any time.

 

Please remember several important key dates as the Plan transitions, as detailed in the notices you received via first class mail.

 

Travel Policy Updates:

We continue to follow the Travel Policy last updated on June 19, 2020.

Late last week, Wisconsin, Utah, Nebraska, and North Carolina were removed from Pennsylvania's recommended quarantine list.

 

Governor Wolf's administration has advised that if you travel to one of these 17 states, you will need to quarantine for 14 days upon returning to Pennsylvania.

Arizona	Kansas	Oklahoma
Arkansas	Louisiana	South Carolina
California	Mississippi	Tennessee
Florida	Missouri	Texas
Georgia	Nevada

 

As far as Dansko’s current travel policy, this means that if you have traveled to one of the states identified by Governor Wolf’s administration, you will not be permitted on the Dansko Campus for 14 days upon returning to the West Grove area.
