Dansko Business Update 05.01.2020

Earlier this afternoon PA Governor Tom Wolf announced the 24 counties moving from red to yellow on May 8th. Chester County was not among the 24 and remains in the “red” category.

As mentioned last week, we do not know when Chester County will be recategorized into the “yellow” phase. Additionally, it is not clear whether the “yellow” phase, whenever it comes, would change anything with regard to Dansko’s current status.

Dansko will remain in our current status through at least Sunday, May 17th and we will continue to update and provide more information as it becomes available.
·         Dansko distribution center remains open on a limited basis
o   As always, your manager will be in touch with you regarding your schedule
·         Dansko Company Store remains closed until further notice (at least through Sunday, May 17th)
·         Dansko offices at 33 Federal remain closed until further notice (at least through Sunday, May 17th.)

The reduced work week for those who are able to continue working (in the distribution center on a limited basis or from home) remains in effect. Again, your manager will work with you regarding your specific schedule. Employees subject to the reduced work week will need to choose whether to take the balance of days as unpaid or take PTO from their current PTO balance. The election for the week of May 11 – May 15 must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, May 6thPlease communicate your elections to your manager who will coordinate with HR for processing.

Those employees who are on furlough will remain on furlough through at least May 17, 2020.

Additional information will be provided next week with regard to the work week beginning May 18th.
Thanks and have a safe and healthy weekend.
